Happenings here...

so after a while i m writing another blog. This is about the happenings here in the last 2 weeks...certain things that will feature this blog are the cricketing actions around the world, life at PSG Tech n the Diwali celebrations....

Cricketing Actions!
Lots of things are happening in world cricket in the past 2 weeks. In India, it was the Test Captaincy issue which dominated. It was talked about that Sachin Tendulkar will take over as test captain. But, jus two days before the team was to be picked, he came up with the news that he is not willing for the post. There seems to lots of reasons behind it. Not sure about the actual reason. Someone start a post for discussing this. Then, Dhoni was thought as the front-runner for the post. But, all were surprised by the interest shown by Kumble in taking the charge. Finally, it was decided to hand over the post to the veteran leg spinner. Hope its a good choice. In the meantime, the same squad was maintained for the next two ODIs also which means Rahul still has to wait to make a comeback. Australia take on SriLanka and they won comprehensively by an innings and 40 runs. India won the 3rd ODI, after Pak level the series in the second ODI, to lead the series 2-1. SA nailed Kiwis with their spearhead Dale Steyn took 10 for and winning the Man-of-the match. Lots more happening in the cricketing world. Keep track on Cricinfo for more.

In hostel also, we had great enjoyment for this Diwali with crackers being bursted (against hostel rules) almost from all the blocks. there were separte teams (detective squads) formed to identify the culprits. but, they could not...the entire hostel enjoyed the crackers...
