Today (22-Mar-2009) is celebrated as World Water Day for 2009. World Water Day is an international day of observance and action to draw international attention to the lack of clean, safe drinking water and proper sanitation. This year's focus will be on transboundary water: sharing water across borders.
- Summer has already started with mercury reading 40 degrees. The water bodies have started to dry up. Experts are forecasting a high demand for water, this summer. So, lets be smart and conserve water.
- Check if your locality has proper sanitation. With elections around the corner in India, politicians will be more than happy to satisfy all the needs of the citizens.
Lets make this world a beautiful place to live in.
