If you are a fan of Firefox, extensions / add-ons and custom scripts could easily be the top reasons for not migrating to Google Chrome. But, Google is getting serious on its business in the browser market. It had released support for extensions in Chrome back in Dec 2009. To increase its share further, the latest version of Chrome has been built with the native support for GreaseMonkey scripts. This enables the users to write their own custom scripts or use from thousands of scripts available from userscripts.org. Interestingly, Aaron Boodman, who originally wrote the GreaseMonkey Add-on for Firefox, has written it for Chrome as well. (Source: Chrome’s official blog).
